About Patricia
Magistrate Patricia Campbell has dedicated her life to the law and to her community. She currently serves as both Magistrate and Court Administrator for the Greene County Domestic Relations Court, where she leads with diligence and integrity. Prior to her judicial appointment, she built a respected private law practice, earning the distinction of Super Lawyer for four consecutive years. Her career also includes time contracted with the Greene county prosecutors office and as Municipal Attorney for the City of Bellbrook. Patricia brings a broad and balanced perspective to the bench, shaped by years of service on all sides of the legal system.
Judicial Experience
Patricia’s judicial journey began even before earning her law degree, when she served as a judicial clerk for two esteemed judges in Ohio. Since then, she has gained extensive courtroom experience, now holding a leadership role that combines administrative oversight with hands-on judicial decision-making. She is licensed to practice law in Ohio, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Supreme Court - a testament to her deep knowledge of the law and the respect she has earned in her profession.
Community Leadership
Beyond the courtroom, Patricia is a passionate advocate for her community. She is a member of the Daniel Cooper Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and has served on the boards of several local organizations, including Roads to Recovery, the Dayton Woman’s Club, and Gloria Dei Montessori. Her published work on military retirement and veterans’ benefits has been featured by the American Bar Association, and she regularly develops continuing legal education programs for attorneys and judges. Patricia believes in giving back and she does so at every opportunity.
Family & Values
A lifelong resident of the Miami Valley, Patricia has lived in Washington Township for over 20 years with her husband, Scott. Together, they have raised two children, Lauren and Colin, and have proudly called this community home. Patricia’s values are shaped by family, faith, and service - qualities that guide her in both her personal and professional life. She understands the importance of trust, accountability, and compassion in public service.

Under state law, the maximum an individual, who must be over the age of 7, can contribute to a campaign is $600 per judicial candidate per election cycle. A PAC or Law Firm or other organization that is not a corporation (corporations are not allowed to donate) may contribute up to $3,800 per judicial candidate per election cycle.
Contributions must be made from your own funds – meaning funds are not provided to you by another person or entity for the purpose of making a contribution to The Committee to Elect Patricia Campbell.
